Rotation of crews with other bases to encourage new ideas and methods of operation is key to delivering the highest level of patient care.

Training Success

All of Aeromed's eight full-time staff nurses are Certified Flight RN's, with a minimum of 2,000 ICU hours.

Since 2001, Aeromed has sponsored 3 Critical Care Transport classes, 2 Transport Nurse Advanced Trauma Courses and a Flight Paramedic Certification Review Course.

Aeromed's Flight Paramedic Review Course produced a pass-rate on the Flight Paramedic-Certified (FP-C) exam of 82% (the national pass-rate average is 47%). Of the 17 paramedics currently working for Aeromed, 13 are FP-Cs.

The National Flight Paramedics Association confirms that Aeromed has the highest concentration of FP-Cs of any air ambulance service in the United States.
